Capt Adam J. Gubitosi is currently the Commandant of Cadets and
Assistant Professor of Aerospace Studies Detachment 730, AFROTC, University of Pittsburgh
He serves as the direct liaison to the commander and the AFROTC cadet Wing. He directs
and supervises all training of more than 60 cadets and instructs a senior level National
Security Studies course.
While serving 9 years as an enlisted member Capt Gubitosi performed duties as a
Security Policeman, Stinger Missile Gunner, and Leadership Instructor.
Prior to his current assignment Captain Gubitosi served as Raven Flight Officer in
Charge, 605 Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, McGuire Air Force Base, New Jersey. He led
over 200 personnel who maintained 16 KC-10A Extender refueling aircraft.
Capt Adam J. Gubitosi earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management
through the University of Maryland and a Masters of Science degree in Human Relations
(Organizational development) through the University of Oklahoma. He has held a variety
of assignments in the maintenance and logistics career fields at the squadron level. He
has aircraft logistics experience with A-10, KC-10, C-17, and KC-135.
